I usually make this when there’s leftover rice at home. It’s easy, cheap, and doesn’t take much time.

1
Heat some oil in a pan and scramble the eggs. Once they’re cooked, take them out and set them aside.
About 2 min
Beginner tip: Don’t cook the eggs too long so they don’t get too dry.
2
Using the same pan, add the garlic and cook for about a minute until it smells good.
About 1 min
Beginner tip: Keep an eye on the garlic because it burns easily.
3
Put the cooked rice into the pan and mix it with the garlic. Break up any big chunks.
About 3 min
Beginner tip: Leftover rice works better because it’s less sticky.
4
Add the soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix everything well.
About 2 min
5
Put the cooked eggs back into the pan and mix them with the rice.
About 1 min
6
Add the chopped green onions, give it a quick mix, and serve while hot.
About 1 min
Warning: Make sure the eggs are fully cooked before serving.
